As the Executive Director of Behavioural Health Institute, she leads the organization's mission to promote and advance behavioural health education, research and practice. Under Emily's leadership, the organization has expanded its reach to both national and international level, and has become a leader in the field through developing training, seminars and recognized degree level programs. She has a proven track record of successfully implementing strategic plans, fostering collaboration and partnerships, as well as managing high-performing teams. Prior to joining the Behavioural Health Institute, Emily served as the Director of Education at a national mental health organization, where she led the design and delivery of comprehensive education programs. Emily holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and is actively involved in national professional organizations in the mental health field.

Under Tamara's leadership, the education department has seen significant growth, by expanding its reach to communities across the region through delivering workshops, training and seminars. She has a strong track record of successfully developing and implementing innovative education program, as well as building and managing high-performing teams. She holds a MA in Educational Psychology and is actively involved in sharing her expertise with other nonprofit organizations in the field of mental health education.

She is responsible for leading and coordinating the organization's multidisciplinary teams to ensure the provision of quality behavioural health services to underserved communities. Under her leadership, our teams have been able to improve their efficiency, productivity and the quality of services they provide. She has a strong track record of successfully leading and coordinating the efforts of multiple teams, as well as building and managing high-performing teams. She holds a BSc in Social work from the BHI. Veronica is actively involved in professional organizations in the field of behavioural health and is known for her dedication to the mission of BHS and the community we serve.

Jules is a passionate and skilled program manager with over 10 years of experience in community residential facilities. As the Community Residential Facilities Program Manager for BHS, Julianna is responsible for leading and overseeing the organization's efforts to provide housing and support services for individuals who have been released from correctional institutions and members of marginalized communities. Under her leadership and development of a successful reentry program, there has been a remarkable reduction in recidivism rates among residents. She has a proven track record of successfully developing and implementing program models, as well as building and managing effective teams. She holds Bachelor of Science in Social Work from BHI, is a licensed social worker and actively involved with various nonprofit organizations dedicated to criminal justice reform and housing advocacy.

Prior to joining BHS, Garret served as a counselling supervisor at another non-profit organization, where he led the implementation of a successful counselling program for individuals with addiction and trauma-related issues. He holds a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology. Garret is actively involved with various nonprofit organizations in the field of counselling and mental health, and is committed to providing evidence-based care and improving access to counseling services for underserved communities.

As the Street Outreach Program Coordinator for BHS, Zendaya is responsible for leading and overseeing the organization's efforts to provide support and services to individuals experiencing homelessness and those who are at risk of becoming homeless. Under Zendaya's leadership, the organization's street outreach program has seen significant growth, reaching more individuals in need and providing tailored support to address their unique challenges. She has a strong track record of successfully developing and implementing innovative outreach program models, as well as building and managing high-performing teams. She holds a BSc in Social Work from the BHI and is a licensed social worker. Zendaya is actively involved with various nonprofit organizations in the field of street outreach and mental health and is committed to providing compassionate and effective support to individuals experiencing homelessness.

Our team is comprised of current students and graduates of our Behavioural Health Institute Education Portal, Certificate, Diploma and Degree Programs in the fields of Applied Behaviour Analysis, Behavioural Intervention, Human Behavioural Biology and Cognitive Behavioural Therapeutic approaches. All Programs include combined online and extensive in-field practical instruction.
The BHS Cognitive Behavioural Therapeutic Approaches BSc (Hons) degree course is delivered online with tutoring from our expert academics, who bring a wealth of experience and specialist knowledge to enrich our students learning further, helping them achieve a recognized university qualification. Courses cover areas including evidence-based practice, understanding and application of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies, Compassionate-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, research skills and working with people with distress and disorder.
