Who is eligible for your services?

While BHS has historically focused primarily on youth and young adults struggling with addiction, mental illness and the dangerous of becoming street entrenched, our mission is to accommodate any marginalized person we can help.

Can I visit the Community Residential Facility locations?

Our locations are operated as "Safe House" resources. Meaning that they are safe places for youth escaping violence, exploitation and the negative influences of the street. For this reason our locations are only disclosed to social services, law enforcement and approved family members in very specific circumstances.

What are the costs for your services?

All of our services are paid for by individual donors, corporate fundraising, and through our volunteer & community outreach networks. BHS does not receive government grants or public funding at this time.

Is BHS a religious organization?

Absolutely not.

How does someone receive help?

Our street outreach teams come into contact with youth in need in the communities we visit. We  have an extensive network of contacts within the non profit community, and they will often recommend individuals who can use our services. If you know someone who is need of our help, you can contact us. If we can reach out to them and help, we will not hesitate to do so.

Have more questions? Contact us and we'll be happy to answer them as best we can.
